Belgian Tervuren (Terv)

The Belgian Tervuren is a large dog belonging to the Herding Group. Its history begins in Belgium, where the breed was developed for its characteristic work. It currently ranks #107 in AKC registration popularity. Adults typically stand 22–26 inches (55.9–66 cm) at the shoulder and weigh 45–75 pounds (20.4–34 kg), with males at the upper end of those ranges.

Published breed data puts a typical Belgian Tervuren lifespan at 12–14 years.
